This site is all about the Soka Gakkai, Soka Gakkai International, and their guru Daisaku Ikeda. Consider this the "consumer reports" about this Japanese money-laundering cult - all the information the Society for Glorifying Ikeda will never promote and doesn't want YOU to see.
I conduct anti-cult research using mostly the Soka Gakkai's and SGI's own materials, which have been (and continue to be) published via several vanity presses that exist for the sole purpose of publishing ghost-written books with guru Ikeda's name rubber-stamped on them, and periodicals that exist for the sole purpose of disseminating ghost-written content attributed to guru Ikeda. The unwitting SGI members' contributions are used for this purpose, which is only to publicize and aggrandize this grasping, ego-centric, *massively* self-important little Japanese businessman.
Daisaku Ikeda is promoted as one of the world's greatest philosophers, Buddhist teachers, and peace activists, yet he has done nothing other than enrich himself on the backs of the good-hearted and idealistic individuals who bought his cult of personality's nice-sounding advertising and thought this would be a way to develop their own spirituality and advance their own idealistic visions. Little did they know they would be expected to enslave themselves to this creepy little man they'll never meet, never even see, and replace their own visions with his.
This cult of personality centered on Daisaku Ikeda has used the members' contributions to create a traveling exhibit: The Gandhi, King, Ikeda Exhibit, in which this greedy little manipulator is equated with civil rights legends Mahatma Gandhi and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in order to co-opt their legacies as elements of his own. It is both grotesque and offensive, the way Ikeda attempts to use the "shared stage effect" to promote himself as a "world leader" and giant of peace and human rights, when he was part of a gang that cornered, beat, and humiliated an elderly priest in the early 1950s and has done nothing to advance the cause of world peace. Ikeda's earlier vision of taking over Japan and making himself ruler, and from there the world, failed to materialize (mostly due to his own incompetence and poor judgment) so now his cult mostly buys up expensive properties around the world for money laundering purposes. No one knows the actual source of this cult's vast fortune (estimated in the hundreds of billions of dollars) or where its annual donations are coming from; the membership is typically on the poor side.
Here I present my opinions and perspectives, plus others I've found online. I am not a professional anything - I'm not a doctor, a therapist, a marriage counselor, or a lawyer, so if you need professional help of any kind, you should seek that elsewhere. In addition to reviewing and commenting on published sources, I will be featuring personal experiences with the SGI, and I would love to feature YOURS. So feel free to say what's on your mind!
